Vilhelmson Silfven was thrilled with Paridon Magi’s performance Thursday evening.

“I was actually so pleased with his attitude and open mindedness,” Vilhemson Silfven explained. “He was rideable and so on my aids tonight. He can be a little bit tense and sometimes he goes into himself and forgets about me. He really tried so hard tonight, so I was able to have a great feeling. I was so happy with that.”

Vilhelmson Silfven is thrilled to be back in Wellington for the season and is looking forward to a successful show season.

“It was a perfect start like this!” she exclaimed. “I hope we can keep going like this, that would be nice. I’m definitely doing the next World Cup with Paridon Magi, then we’ll have to see what the standings are. If I’m secure, maybe I’ll do the 5* with him.”

Vilhelmson Silfven and Paridon Magi were joined in the winners circle by Shelly Francis of the United States and Danilo, a 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding, who earned a score of 72.652 percent to claim second place.
